Driveshaft tube selection is a critical early decision in any custom shaft build. The TU47157 is a large-diameter, heavy-wall tube: 4.724" OD with a 0.157" wall, supplied in a 59" length. This combination is suited to high-torque driveshafts where both diameter (for critical speed) and wall thickness (for torsional stiffness) are important.
