Full Description
TU21315 is 2.126" OD x 0.315" wall DOM steel tube -- a wall thickness that is unusually heavy relative to the tube OD. At these proportions, this is not standard driveshaft tube stock. The 0.315" wall leaves an inside diameter of approximately 1.496" (2.126 - 2x0.315), which is consistent with tube stock used to machine stub shafts, yoke blanks, or other solid-section drivetrain components rather than hollow driveshaft tubes.
Applications requiring this heavy a wall-to-OD ratio include:
- Stub shaft blanks machined to a specific spline or journal dimension
