231421-3 U-Bolt Nut -- 3/8-24 UNF Thread
The 231421-3 at 3/8-24 UNF is the lightest standard U-bolt nut in the 231421 family above the 5/16 size. This thread size is found on the smallest driveshaft applications -- compact passenger cars, rear-wheel-drive vans with 1210 series drivelines, and some import vehicles. The 9/16-inch hex is the standard socket for 3/8 fasteners in fine thread.
