DOM tubing is drawn over mandrel -- that means consistent wall thickness and true roundness all the way through. The TU3565 is the correct starting material for custom driveshaft fabrication.

The TU3565 driveshaft tube: 3.500" OD x 0.065"" wall | sold per 1". Note: SOLD BY FOOT - DOM. Steel DOM -- drawn over mandrel, consistent wall thickness, no weld seam, correct material for driveshaft applications.
Wall thickness determines critical speed and torque capacity. Thicker walls handle more torque but add rotating weight -- and rotating weight affects RPM limits more than static weight does.
