Full Description
TU27565 is the minimum-wall option in the 2.750" OD DOM steel tube lineup, at 0.065" wall thickness. It is appropriate only for light-duty applications where the torsional load stays within this tube specification rated capacity.
Compared to the 0.083" (TU27583) and 0.095" (TU27595) versions, TU27565 provides the lowest rotating mass per unit length. In applications where acceleration response is a priority and torque is controlled -- such as motorsport vehicles with defined power limits -- the mass reduction matters. Do not select this tube without confirming its torque rating against your powertrain output.
