Full Description
TU22565 is 2.250" OD x 0.065" wall DOM steel tubing, sold by the foot. The 2.250" diameter is found in lighter-duty driveshaft applications, and at 0.065" wall this is the thin end of the available range for this diameter.
Because the inside diameter is 2.250 - (2 x 0.065) = 2.120", the weld yoke butt diameter for this tube must measure no more than 2.120" to fit properly. Attempting to install a yoke with a larger butt requires re-boring, which alters wall thickness at the joint and affects weld quality.
