TU17595 -- 1.750" x 0.095" DOM Steel Tube
At 1.750" OD, TU17595 is among the smaller diameter DOM steel tube sizes in this catalog. It is used in light-duty driveshaft applications, PTO shafts, and specialty fabrication where a compact tube cross-section is required. The 0.095" wall provides a nominal ID of approximately 1.560".
Torsional capacity at this diameter and wall is substantially lower than larger-OD tubes, which is expected for small-diameter stock. Applications should have clearly defined and limited torque loads. This tube is not appropriate for main driveshaft sections in medium or heavy-duty vehicles.
