Before ordering DSS-1810EYC40, measure the distance from your front U-joint centerline to the frame bracket centerline at static ride height. This must be 40 inches. The 40-inch and 41-inch versions (DSS-1810EYC40 and DSS-1810EYC41) are distinct parts — a 1-inch difference in CL-to-CB dimension will result in the bearing bracket sitting offset from the bearing centerline. Do not substitute one for the other without confirming the frame bracket location. Both lengths are for similar truck applications, but the frame geometry varies by manufacturer and model year.
Yoke phasing at both U-joint ends must be in phase unless vehicle geometry specifies otherwise.
