GAB01-023 is a critical component for BMW 5ER and 6ER models, designed to absorb torsional vibrations between the transmission output and driveshaft input. When a customer reports clunking on takeoff or vibrations at low speeds, the culprit is often a worn or damaged flex disc. This specific flex disc features a bolt circle diameter of 96MM, six bolt holes with a diameter of 12MM, and a disc width of 32MM, ensuring a perfect fit for these BMW applications.
This flex disc compensates for minor angular misalignment without the need for a universal joint, effectively reducing noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) in the cabin.
