DOM tubing is drawn over mandrel -- that means consistent wall thickness and true roundness all the way through. The ATU5125 is the correct starting material for custom driveshaft fabrication.

ATU5125 driveshaft tube -- 5.000"" OD x 125" wall | sold per 80". 6061-T6.
Aluminum alloy -- significantly lighter than steel, same torque range in larger diameters, requires proper MIG/TIG welding procedure. Match tube OD to your weld yoke butt diameter. The butt sits inside or butts against the tube OD -- confirm yoke butt diameter before cutting your tube length.
