ATU45108 Driveshaft Tube -- Aluminum DOM Specs
The ATU45108 driveshaft tube: 4.550"" OD x 108" wall | sold per 70". Note: High Performance tube. Aluminum alloy -- significantly lighter than steel, same torque range in larger diameters, requires proper MIG/TIG welding procedure.
Wall thickness determines critical speed and torque capacity. Thicker walls handle more torque but add rotating weight -- and rotating weight affects RPM limits more than static weight does.
