The 1350-series yoke shaft family shares the 1.062" bearing cap diameter with the 1310, but the wider trunnion cross increases its torque rating significantly. On worn 1350-series yoke shafts the failure mode is typically a worn spline bore rather than a cracked trunnion -- the spline wears because driveshaft windup under heavy load creates micro-oscillation between the shaft and sleeve that removes material progressively. Inspect the spline flanks under magnification at service intervals; a shiny, frosted surface on the tooth flanks indicates spline wear before dimensional measurement will show it.

Specs: 1.500" spline diameter, 16 splines, 2.500" engagement length, 6.812" CL-to-end. This stub shaft is standard for 1350-series two-piece driveshaft front sections in light and medium truck applications.
