When building a driveshaft from scratch or replacing a cracked weld yoke, tube OD and wall thickness determine the butt diameter you need. The 3-28-257 fits 3.500X0.065 wall tubing, 1350 series, steel.

Ensure the tube is cut square before fitting the yoke. An angled cut puts the yoke out of phase and causes a vibration that gets worse at higher speeds.
