1-2024 Strap Kit -- 1310 and 1330 Series
The 1-2024 is a strap kit for retaining U-joint bearing cups in 1310 and 1330 series yokes that use strap retention. Strap kits use small bolted metal straps that bridge across the bearing cup and clamp it into the yoke ear. This is a different retention system from snap-ring U-joints, which use internal or external circlips -- the two styles are not interchangeable.

Why the center-to-center dimension matters: the strap bridges across the bearing cup recess in the yoke. If the CTC distance doesn't match the yoke recess, the strap bolt holes will not align. Confirm the CTC on your yoke before ordering strap kits.
Strap kits are single-use fasteners -- replace straps any time a U-joint is removed. Reusing stretched or deformed straps reduces clamp load and can allow the cup to work loose under vibration.
