Category Information
U-bolt kits are the standard retention method for U-joints in a wide range of automotive, truck, and industrial driveshaft applications. A complete kit includes the U-bolts, nuts, and any washers or retaining plates required for the specific series — because mixing hardware from different kits or using worn U-bolts on a new joint is a shortcut that ends with a U-joint on the pavement. The U-bolt legs need to be the correct span for the yoke ear width, the thread pitch needs to match the nuts, and the material grade needs to be appropriate for the torque loads involved. Our U-bolt kits are assembled to fit specific U-joint series, so what you order is exactly what fits.
