Full Description
The 3R82-322 yoke shaft is an integrated assembly — splined shaft on one end, u-joint yoke on the other. It splines onto the output shaft and carries the u-joint cross simultaneously, in one part. For 3R series applications, both the spline specification and the u-joint series have to be correct. One wrong dimension on either end and the part doesn't work.
3R82-322 Yoke Shaft — 3R Series Spline & CL Specs
The 3R series covers metric 3-bolt flange — European and import platforms. The 3R82-322 yoke shaft specs: 1.375" x 31/32 spline | 3.500" spline length | 11.500" CL-to-end. Like 3R82-321 but with long neck. Spline length determines engagement depth — short engagement under high torque loads damages the output shaft, not just the yoke shaft. CL-to-end positions the u-joint cross relative to the output shaft face; this affects clearance on tight installations.
Verify both ends of the 3R82-322 yoke shaft before installing: spline count against the output shaft, and series cross size against the driveshaft u-joint. If either is wrong, the part has to come back out. Measure once, order correctly.
