Series 1251 is a compact size found on lighter and import applications. A flange yoke bolts to a companion flange or a differential pinion flange rather than sliding onto a spline. It is the bolted end of a driveline.

Series fixes the u-joint. What fixes the fit is the bolt circle diameter and the pilot diameter, so measure the circle through the bolt hole centres and the register that locates the flange.
Flange yokes terminate a driveshaft at a bolted joint. Instead of a splined slip fit, the yoke presents a machined face with a bolt pattern and a pilot register that centres it against the mating flange. That makes the connection rigid and repeatable, which is why it is used at differentials, transfer cases and industrial drives.
Two flange yokes of the same series can be completely different parts. The series governs which cross fits the ears; the bolt circle, pilot diameter and number of bolt holes govern whether it will mount to your flange at all. Check all of them.
