500175-2 -- 65-Degree Angled Grease Zerk Fitting
500175-2 is a 65-degree angled grease (Alemite) fitting with .250-28 thread -- the standard thread size for domestic driveshaft U-joint grease ports. The 65-degree angle on the fitting body allows a grease gun coupler to be applied at an angle when a straight zerk cannot be reached due to clearance restrictions at the U-joint yoke ear.

Angled zerks are used when the yoke design places the grease port in a location where a straight grease gun coupler cannot be applied -- common on short-ear yokes where the yoke ear blocks direct access to a straight fitting.
