Return & Refund Policy – Universal DriveShafts, Inc. (UDS)

At Universal DriveShafts, Inc., we value your satisfaction and aim to ensure every order meets your expectations. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may request a return or refund under the terms below.


1. Return & Refund Eligibility

  • You must request a return or refund within 14 days from the date your order was placed.
  • Items must be:
    • In the same condition as when shipped.
    • Unused and not installed in any vehicle or application.
    • In the original packaging, including all accessories, manuals, and documentation.
  • We cannot accept returns for:
    • Custom-made or special-order products/driveshafts.
    • Products/driveshafts that have been used, installed, modified, or damaged after delivery.
    • Items marked as clearance or final sale.

2. Restocking Fee

  • All approved returns are subject to a 10% restocking fee, which will be deducted from the refund amount.
  • This fee covers inspection, handling, and repackaging costs.

3. How to Request a Return

You can request a return or refund directly through our website:

  • Registered Customers:
    Log in to your My Account section, go to Orders, select the relevant order, and click Request Refund.
  • Guest Customers:
    Visit Track Order, enter your Order ID and Billing Email, then follow the prompts to request a refund.

Once your request is submitted, our team will review it and provide a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number along with return shipping instructions in case is approved.


4. Shipping Your Return

  • Securely pack the item with its original packaging and all included materials.
  • Clearly label the package and ship it with the shipping label provided by our team
  • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the return is due to our error (e.g., wrong item or defective product).
  • We use a trackable shipping service “UPS” company for the returns.

5. Refunds

  • Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
  • Approved refunds will be issued to your original payment method within 7-14 business days, minus the 10% restocking fee.
  • Shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.
  • If your return is rejected becasue the returned product doesn’t meet the requirements, the item will be shipped back to you at your expense.

6. Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. Please request an exchange through the same process as above.


7. Damaged or Defective Items

If you receive a damaged or defective product, request a return immediately through our website. We will arrange for a replacement or full refund, including return shipping.
