When a customer brings in their GM vehicle, like a Vue from 2002-2007 or an Equinox from 2005-2009, experiencing vibration at highway speeds, the culprit often lies in the center support bearing. The 9980-25 center support bearing is engineered to maintain alignment and reduce driveline whip, making it a critical component for these applications.

This bearing features a 1.181″ inner diameter and a center-to-base height of 1.000″, ensuring it fits perfectly in the specified GM models. With a center-to-center distance of 7.500″ between the mounting holes, it provides the necessary support to keep the driveshaft aligned. If the rubber isolator has collapsed or hardened, it can lead to increased vibration and noise, symptoms that are often misdiagnosed.
