Full Description
That knock you hear pulling out of a driveway isn't the suspension — it's usually the u-joint. The 5-291X 1310 to 2C combo conversion Universal joint is the direct fix.
Greasable with standard chassis grease — service every 30,000–50,000 miles for best longevity. Use a quality CV/chassis grease, not wheel bearing grease. Dual cap sizes accommodate two different yoke bores in a single joint — typical for series-conversion applications where the front and rear yokes don't match.
Cap retention style is OSR/WB (Outside Snap Ring). Clips retain cap from outside the yoke bore. Most common retention method on domestic trucks. No special tools needed — standard snap ring pliers work. Additional: alternative part #: 2-0291 5-291x 509 Wings style to OSR style.
