European vehicles skip the u-joint in favor of a rubber flex disc -- it's quieter, smoother, and eliminates the angular velocity variation that u-joints produce. The 2355-12 is the replacement disc.

The 2355-12 rubber flex disc specs: 85mm bolt circle | 6 bolt holes | 8MM hole dia | 14MM disc width. Note: Aluminum disc with rubber insert for Toyota Previa accessory driveshaft. Application: TOYOTA. Match bolt circle and hole count exactly -- flex discs are not interchangeable across applications.
The rubber compound matters too. Under-rated rubber fatigues fast; over-rated rubber doesn't flex enough and passes vibration through instead of absorbing it. This disc is rated for the application.
