The UDS 1751-22 Universal Joint - 1751 Series - OSR Style is not a universal fit. It's dimensioned to one thing: the exact cap size and width of this specific application. That's the point.
Greasable with standard chassis grease — service every 30,000–50,000 miles for best longevity. Use a quality CV/chassis grease, not wheel bearing grease. The 1751 series runs a 1.313" cap diameter across a 4.188" width — built for medium-heavy duty use. It's the standard cross on medium-duty truck applications, specific OEM fitment.
Outside Snap Ring retention (OSR): Clips retain cap from outside the yoke bore. Most common retention method on domestic trucks. No special tools needed — standard snap ring pliers work. Additional: Suzuki and more.
