UDS – 1-2185XU Universal Joint

The UDS 1-2185 U-Joint, part of the 2C Series is designed for robust performance in various applications. This greasable universal joint features a wing LWD / LWT design, ensuring secure power transmission and ease of maintenance. With dimensions including 1.312″ between bolts and a 3.125″ lock-up length, it offers reliable operation under demanding conditions. The bearing cups are made from formed bar stock or precision forgings, with case-hardened bearing surfaces for strength and durability. Needle bearings made from high-quality bearing steel ensure maximum life and load-carrying capabilities. Nitrile rubber or cork seals optimize grease retention and contaminant exclusion. Precision machining of mounting key and bolt holes ensures a precise fit to mating parts, while lubrication channels and grooves facilitate positive greasing for extended joint life. Trunnions undergo a deep carburization process and are ground to precision tolerances for maximum life expectancy and smooth operation.
