The Spicer SPL55X U-Joint, from the 1480 series, is a non-greasable universal joint designed for superior performance in demanding conditions. Featuring an outside snap ring, a 1.375″ cap size, and a 4.188″ lock up, it is pre-lubricated for life and equipped with a synthetic thrust washer and multi-lip seal. These features minimize friction, enhance temperature resistance, and ensure optimal grease retention while preventing contamination. This u-joint is a direct replacement for the older Spicer part number 5-803X.
