The 2904-60 pinion yoke is part of the 7290 series, designed to fit both Dana 60 and Dana 70 differentials. This light-duty (LD) yoke features a spline count of 29 with a spline diameter of 1.276 inches. The hub diameter measures 1.875 inches, and the through hole is 1.500 inches. With a centerline to end distance of 3.359 inches, this yoke requires strap kit 2970-20.

It’s essential to differentiate between this yoke and the Chrysler 9.25″ yoke, as their measurements can be similar. The splines of a Dana 60 and Chrysler 9.25″ are cut differently and are not interchangeable. To identify the differential type, count the bolts on the rear differential cover: Dana 60 covers have 10 bolts, while Chrysler 9.25″ covers have 12 bolts and are shaped like a stop sign.
