Use this guide to measure driveshaft length for most 4WD front shafts and some 4WD rear shafts.

Measure instruction: Please make sure to measure the driveshaft length when the vehicle is in the normal riding position.If you’re using Jack/Lift the axle must be supported on safety stands – not hanging down.

Measurement (A) - DRIVESHAFT LENGTH:
Measure from center of u-joint/flats on the end yoke on the transmission output to the face of the end yoke or the face of the flange on the differential input end.

Measurement (A) - DRIVESHAFT LENGTH:
Measure from the flat of the flange on the transmission output to the center of the u-joint on the end yoke or the face of the flange on the differential input end.
